The Hourglass District
A Branding Project
The Hourglass District is the newest neighborhood district in Orlando. It is named after the nearby Hourglass Lake and is completely revitalizing the western end of Curry Ford Road.

The Hourglass District needed a logo that had individual elements that could be used independently of each other and still be make the neighborhood identifiable. To accomplish this, the logo works with the full word mark and icon, just the word mark solo, and even just the icon in graphical settings.
For this branding campaign we wanted to balance the black and white logo with a softer beige paired with a bright magenta for some flair. The branding also needed to reflect the fresh vibrancy that this area is receiving by it’s visitors and new business owners.
